Two MIMLAB Master's Students Successfully Defend Their Theses
MIMLAB is proud to celebrate the successful Master of Science thesis defenses of two lab members, Leen Hakki and Gülbahar Jinda Aydın.
-
Leen Hakki defended her thesis, “A Preclinical MRI Pipeline for Multiparametric Mapping Towards Analysis of Age-Related Brain Changes.” Her research focused on developing and implementing an advanced quantitative MRI analysis pipeline to investigate age-related structural changes in preclinical brain imaging. This work was supported by the TÜBİTAK 1004 Neurotechnological Solutions Platform (NTÇP).

Gülbahar Jinda Aydın defended her thesis, “Assessment of EEG and Physiological Responses to Varying Working Memory Loads.” Her project characterized dynamic electroencephalography (EEG) and autonomic physiological signals under varying cognitive demands and during deep-breathing challenges. The study was supported by the Boğaziçi University Start-Up Grant.
We extend our sincere gratitude to committee members Prof. Ahmet Ademoğlu, Prof. Ali Bayram, Prof. Banu İyisan, and Prof. Emine Ülkü Sarıtaş for their time, critical evaluation, and guidance throughout the evaluation process.
Congratulations to both Leen and Jinda on this milestone. The entire lab commends their dedication, scientific rigor, and hard work, and wishes them the best in their future research endeavors.
