Education:

2013 - 2018  M.A., Cognitive Science, Boğaziçi University
2008 - 2013 B.Sc., Molecular Biology and Genetics, Bilkent University

I am a Ph.D. student contributing to the research in MIMLAB since 2022. I received my B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bilkent University in 2013 and M.A. in Cognitive Science from Boğaziçi University in 2018. I am interested in exploring how our brain and autonomic nervous system (ANS) interact at different levels to induce a multitude of brain/body states. My current research focuses on investigating the ANS contributions in fMRI BOLD signal by using peripheral ANS-related measures such as pupil size and finger skin vascular tone.

Outside of research, I enjoy capturing ideas through drawings/paintings, spending time in nature, and with loved ones. I also value engaging in spirited discussions to make sense of things together.
