MIMLAB at OHBM 2026 - Bordeaux, France

Friday, July 3, 2026 - 11:45

MIMLAB was delighted to take part in the OHBM 2026 Annual Meeting, held from June 14–18 in Bordeaux, France. Ahead of the main meeting, our members also joined the OHBM Brainhack 2026 (June 11–13) at Campus Victoire, University of Bordeaux. OHBM Brainhack is an open collaboration event that brings together researchers, developers, and trainees to build and learn around open neuroimaging tools. Across both events, our team presented a range of work spanning EEG, fMRI, and multimodal brain-body research, and enjoyed valuable opportunities to exchange ideas and connect with the global neuroimaging community.

  • Hüden Neşe presented a traditional poster titled "Cognitive Load Modulates Phase-Based EEG Brain State Dynamics in Working Memory."
  • Şirin Yağmur Abacı presented a traditional poster titled "Seizure Detection in a Rodent Model of NMDAR Autoimmune Epilepsy Using Spectrogram-Based 2D CNNs."
  • Gülbahar Jinda Aydın presented a traditional poster titled "Load-Dependent EEG Dynamics and Their Modulation by Respiration."
  • Fatma Zehra Uçal's traditional poster "Effects of Caffeine on Task-Evoked Cortical Activity: A Surface-Based fMRI Study," presented by Dr. Pınar S. Özbay.
  • Kübra Eren presented a traditional poster titled "Cognitive Task-Evoked Brain-Body Interactions and EEG-fMRI Coupling." She also received EEG101 COST Action (CA24148) Young Researcher and Innovator Conference (YRIC) Grant.

Beyond the presentations, our PI, Dr. Pınar S. Özbay, took part in the EEG101 and INDoS COST Action meetings held alongside the conference, strengthening MIMLAB's ongoing collaborations within these networks.

We warmly congratulate all MIMLAB members for their outstanding contributions and for representing our lab so in Bordeaux. We look forward to future OHBM Annual Meetings and to continuing our engagement with the global scientific community advancing innovation in neuroimaging research.
