MIMLAB at Board of Rectors Meeting of NeurotechEU

MIMLAB members contributed to the Board of Rectors Meeting organized by European University of Brain and Technology (NeurotechEU),

of which Boğaziçi University is a founding partner.

The meeting was held in Bogazici University South Campus, on 12-14 November 2024, simultaneously with a Hackathon event organized by

the Student Council of NeurotechEU, of which MIMLAB member Elif Can is a part of. The organization team of the meeting included Kübra Eren,

another MIMLAB member.

On the first day of the event, MIMLAB Master student Belal Tavashi, competed in the 3 Minute Thesis competition, presented his preclinical

imaging work in MIMLAB. He was selected among the top 5 and awarded Hackathon Participation. The theme of the NeurotechEU Hackathon

was how technologies can address real world societal issues.

On the last day, the winners of the 3 Minute Thesis competition was announced, Belal was among the winners of the competition,

where one graduate and one doctoral student were awarded.
